The family that owns this place is so great! We got there late and they offered to ask there neighbors to cook us dinner. We had a late flight on our day of departure and Rio the son drove us around for a hike and a few hours at the beach before he dropped us off at the airport. Such great people, I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

Beautiful place, very clean, spacious and comfortable rooms, delicious breakfast and truly wonderful, kind hearted owner who’ll make you feel like a part of his family. There is a good wi-fi connection here. The guesthouse can also help you with organizing boat trip to 17 Islands nature park. We had a trip with amazing Captain Adam and it was really great experience for a very good price.

What did I like about the property? Well everything actually! We liked it soo much we visited twice in a few days. The location is just amazing. A little bit away from the main road (not a very good road though) and therefore very quiet. The place is surrounded by beautiful forests full of birds. The lodges are simple but exactly enough. Be aware there’s no electricity and wifi, so make sure to charge your devices. The food is simply astonishing. Locally grown, made on woodfire and served with love. We ordered the vegan option, which was very reasonably priced. The staff working there is very kind and hospitable. If you look for accommodation close to Labuan Bajo or on your way to the east, definitely stay here!

Sun Rice Homestay er et nyrenoveret private indkvarteringssted i Ruteng, hvor gæsterne kan nyde haven og terrassen. Personalet på stedet kan arrangere transport. Such a great place to stay and check out Ruteng. Everything was made so easy by Jeff who picked us up from the bus, and organised onward travel. He welcomed us formally, talked to us about his culture and traditions and dinner with the others who were staying was really fun. The morning walk guided by Jeff through the river fields was beautiful too. 10/10 if you are interested in learning about Manggarai people and having a truly welcoming experience.

Escape Bajo er et nyrenoveret pensionat i Labuan Bajo, 500 m fra Wae Rana-stranden. Der er bar og udsigt over byen. I loved staying here. The staff is so nice!!! Everyone is always so smiling and kind. The bed in the dorm was the biggest I have ever seen and was very comfortable. The sheets were clean and smelled nice. Bathroom always clean with soap and shampoo. The chocolate cake is amazing and the view to the harbour exceptional. You are 5 minutes away for shops and the center (by foot). It is also a quiet dorm. Very classy place and nice vibes.

Der er kedel på værelset.... Extremely friendly host in a cozy homestay (you really live with their family). Rooms were comfortable and the shared bathroom well maintained. Don’t bother eating somewhere else in the city, because the food prepared at the homestay was really amazing! Richardo is a great host who actively helps you planning your Flores itinerary. In the end, we used his place as a hub to visit Wae Rebo and we rented a motor cycle from him to do a 6 day roadtrip (Ruteng - Bajawa - Kelimutu - Riung - Ruteng) and we ended up staying 3 times at Richardo’s home. He can also help you book buses from and to Ruteng. Summarised, highly recommended!

ORA KOMODO HOME STAY ligger i Komodo, 1,9 km fra Pink Beach, og har grillfaciliteter, fælles opholdsstue og havudsigt. Easily one of the most rich experiences we have had on our travels. We enjoyed spending time with jecky’s family, eating delicious home cooked meals, seeing Komodos (of which there are many behind the village), trekking in the national park, swimming with mantas, hiking Padar…the list goes on! Even just sitting on the balcony and watching the fishing boats or the resident dugong play with a sea turtle is a great way to pass the time. Jecky is a great host and has great English. You can arrange/discuss all your travels and activities with him via WhatsApp prior. And his wife is a great cook! This is a unique opportunity you will be lucky to have. It’s a homestay (not some bland hotel experience) so come ready for adventure.

Great host, guide and a very intelligent and attentive person. Honest, knowledgeable and trustworthy. The best part of the home stay is that you can tailor your stay according to your needs and liking. Khulna is always there to help you and meet your needs. He also called me weeks before our arrival and sent all the pricing sharing his advice and suggestions. We saw many Komodo Dragons, fish, mantas and had great times every day. It was very hard to leave.We enjoyed the stay very much and will be back very soon!!!
